The Poconos Mountains region of Pennsylvania Near Brier Crest Woods is like one large amusement park filled with entertainment options. 

With a vast area covering 2400 square miles. There is so much to see and do here. Brier Crest Woods is situated in the Western section of the Southern tier along Rt I-80. This area boasts major ski resorts, earning it the nickname “Ski Region”. The area also offers motor boating at Lake Harmony (4 minutes), a small indoor water park at Split Rock Resort (5 min) , and larger ones at Kahahari Resort (17 Min). 

Foodies will relish around 35 restaurants. Options include fast food chains to small, cozy places, perfect for intimate dinners. Shopaholics can head to the Crossings Outlet Complex for an incredible shopping experience. 

For those who love casinos, there is the impressive Mt Airy Casino Resort. Race car enthusiasts will rejoice at the chance to try out the Pocono Raceway NASCAR racing, located less than two miles away. AND on race days, you will likely hear the cars from your home in Brier Crest.

Thrill seekers will be blown away by Camelback Adventure Park, Camelback Outdoor Water Park, and paintball (all 18 minutes). There are also ATVs and shooting ranges for those who crave an adrenaline rush. 

For those who love nature, you can take a leisurely Whitewater rafting (canoeing and kayaking) trip on the Lehigh River. You can go horseback riding nearby or fish in the community lake and at various state lakes (All withing 25 minutes). For winter enthusiasts, snowmobiling is a perfect way to enjoy the snowy landscapes. You can also experience axe throwing – a fun and unique activity. 

The Big Boulder Lake Club (4 minutes) offers exciting beach activities such as canoeing, kayaking, and small sail boating. All these attractions are situated in the Poconos Mountains, making it a must-visit destination for those seeking fun, adventure, and thrill.
